- John Brockway Nature Preserve - Hopkington, NH
Take exit 3, heading north on I-89. There is no exit 3 heading south. Take a right onto Farrington Corner Rd. and travel .6 miles to the John Brockway Nature Preserve on your right. It will come up on you quick, so watch how far you have traveled.
Park and enter the woods, following the trail around the pond. Cross over the bridge next to the beaver dam, then over a much smaller bridge. Pass by the small gathering area, staying on the main trail until you find a red arrow on a tree on your right. Take the trail across from that arrow and follow. Soon, on your right, you will come across a tree devastated by nature. At the base of this tree, you will find a large rock. Under some bark behind the main trunk, will be what you are searching for.
